Rahma Health

Rahma Health is a charity which provides evidence-based health and parenting information in the Arabic language. Rahma focuses on empowering families from pregnancy to 5 years of age.

Vision and mission

Rahma Health aims to help Arabic-speaking families embrace the joy and wonder of the first 5 years of life!

They aim to facilitate the best start in life for the next generation of Arabic-speaking refugees and migrants in Australia: overcoming intergenerational disadvantage, helping tackle broken social supports and creating strong parent-child bonds.

How Rahma Health can help

Their website can be found at (https://rahma.health/en) and contains health information that has been created and reviewed by health professionals, mostly from the Arabic-speaking migrant and refugee community in Australia. This website was recognised in the Techfugees Global Challenge, by YGAP and the World Health Organisation.

Their large, multidisciplinary team consists of Obstetricians, General Practitioners, Speech Pathologists, Dentists, Midwives, and nurses. Their team strives to ensure that the best information is available to families to give them culturally-safe and person-centered support.

They also support their community through education delivered through social media platforms. You can find them on most platforms.
