Healthy Bones Australia is a national not-for-profit committed to protect, build and support bone health across Australia.

Currently there are over 173,000 broken bones each year due to poor bone health. Any fracture has a big impact on the individual, their family and is costly to the healthcare system.

Healthy Bones Australia is committed to improving bone health in Australia and reducing the impact of poor bone health, osteoporosis and related fractures. Improved community awareness about risk factors for poor bone health and early diagnosis and management of osteoporosis will make a difference. Bone health is an important part of general health and needs to be a higher priority.
