Babies are usually born with 20 baby teeth. They start to come through the gums at about 9 months, but you may see their first teeth by 3 months or as late as 12 months.

All 20 baby teeth will usually appear by 3 years of age. Permanent teeth will start replacing the baby teeth at around 6 years of age.
