There are organisations across Australia that specialise in offering support for people who have experienced a pregnancy loss. These services offer free support by phone.
Red Nose Grief and Loss
Red Nose Grief and Loss provides support for people affected by pregnancy loss.
Call 1300 308 307 — 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Pink Elephants
Pink Elephants Pregnancy Loss Helpline, delivered by PANDA, provides counselling and support for families experiencing pregnancy loss.
Call 1300 726 306 — Monday to Friday from 9am – 7:30pm and Saturdays and public holidays 9am - 4pm AEST.

Mental health support
If you need someone to talk to about your feelings and mental health.
- If you feel depressed or anxious, speak with a counsellor. Call or chat with Beyond Blue on 1300 22 4636.
- Visit Kids Helpline or call 1800 55 1800 if you are a young person and you need a safe space to chat.
- Gidget Foundation Australia supports parents' mental health during pregnancy and after pregnancy loss.
