Kidney Health Australia

For over 50 years, Kidney Health Australia have been working tirelessly on behalf of the kidney community to fight for equal opportunity in the support, treatment and research of kidney disease.

As the peak body for kidney disease in Australia, their purpose is to bring together individuals, organisations and healthcare providers to work together to improve the lives of the 1.7 million Australians affected by kidney disease.

Part of a dedicated clinical and research community, they foster advocacy and research to drive improvements in the diagnosis, management and eventual cure of kidney disease.

Vision and mission

Kidney Health Australia has a clear purpose - to achieve good kidney health for all Australians.

Kidney Health Australia’s mission is decrease the incidence of kidney disease, and save and improve the lives of Australians affected by kidney disease. Through their awareness, early detection and support programs, they will continue to ensure every Australian at risk of, or affected by, kidney disease, receives the best possible support to enjoy a good quality of life.

Their vision is a future where every Australian has the ability to enjoy good kidney health.
