Health Care Complaints Commission NSW

The NSW Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) is an independent body set up under the Health Care Complaints Act 1993.

The HCCC manages complaints about health service providers in NSW, including:

  • health organisatons
  • registered health practitioners
  • unregistered health practitioners.

Vision and mission

The HCCC has a central role in maintaining the integrity of the NSW health system, with the overarching aim of protecting the health and safety of individuals and the community.

How the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission can help

The HCCC acts to protect public health and safety by resolving, investigating and prosecuting complaints about health care.
