Eating Disorders Victoria

Eating Disorders Victoria is the primary source of support, information, community education and advocacy for people with eating disorders and their families in Victoria.

Eating Disorders Victoria (EDV) connects those whose lives are affected by eating disorders with the people, services and hope they need for recovery.

EDV incorporates a unique approach to the provision of clinical and non-clinical support services through a blend of qualified professionals and lived experience of employees and volunteers.

The approach and services provided by EDV have a direct impact on the mental health and wellbeing of thousands of Victorians every year.

Eating Disorders Victoria operates a helpline, that provides information, guidance and support to anyone whose life is affected by an eating disorder, body image issues or disordered eating.

The Eating Disorders Helpline, 1300 550 236, is the first point of contact with support, guidance, information and referrals for thousands of people with an eating disorder and their families, partners and friends. Available Monday to Friday from 9.30am – 5.00pm.
