Camp Quality

Camp Quality gives kids facing cancer the chance to be kids again. Camp Quality’s services and programs are created specifically to support children aged up to 15 years, who are dealing with their own cancer diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum, dad or carer.

Vision and mission

Camp Quality can positively change kids’ cancer experiences with entertaining, play-based education and recreational camps and retreats that strengthen the mental wellbeing, and improve the quality of life, for children and their family.

Puppet Digital Playdates bring the fun and distraction of the Camp Quality Puppets online. Kids can connect live with one of the much-loved puppets via a 10 minute online ‘playdate’ using their personal device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Happiness Hub - Camp Quality

Our Happiness Hub is the online home for Camp Quality’s services and programs. The Hub offers kids isolated by cancer treatment, hospitalisation, or living rurally, access to Puppet Power videos, kids’ activities and virtual book readings. The Hub also includes wellbeing resources for parents from Camp Quality’s social enterprise, the ORANGES Toolkit.

The Camp Quality Puppets provide fun and distraction for kids at their hospital bedsides, which boosts their mental wellbeing. Camp Quality sponsored Child Life Therapists support children undergoing cancer treatment to reduce anxiety and the need for sedation.

Away from it all - How we help - Camp Quality

Our much-loved Kids’ Camps and Family Camps give children and their families a break from cancer. As do our memorable one-day events, Family Fun Days and Family Experiences. We also provide respite in the most difficult stages of cancer at our Retreats.
