Use this handy guide to get your baby's nursery set up before they arrive.

Bedroom

• Cot (with a firm, tight-fitting mattress)
• Bassinet Fitted sheets

• Pillow for feeding
• Change table
• Chest of drawers or wardrobe
• Baby monitor
• Night light

Clothing

• Jumpsuits (onesies)
• Nappies (disposables or cloth)

Bathtime

• Bathtub or bath support
• Towels

Toiletries and personal care

• Baby bath wash
• Baby wipes

• Saline nasal drops

Getting out of the house*

• Pram 
• Car seat
• Nappy bag
• Baby carrier

Nursery safety tips

• Place your baby on their back to sleep
• Don’t place pillows, toys or bumpers in the cot
• Install a smoke alarm
• Make sure furniture is anchored properly
• Keep cords and blind strings away from the cot
