St Vincent's Hospital Heart Health

St Vincent’s Hospital has an international reputation as a leader in the provision of cardiac services, including cardiac transplantation, and for pioneering new ways of treating complex heart disease.

In 2016, St Vincent’s Hospital launched the St Vincent’s Hospital Heart Health website. This comprehensive cardiac education resource features lay friendly written content, simplified animations and videos to explain cardiac risks, conditions, treatment options and cardiac rehabilitation.

Built into the site is a tailored Aboriginal heart health resource, designed in collaboration with Aboriginal people, to provide culturally appropriate information and resources.

Vision and mission

The purpose of St Vincent’s Hospital Heart Health is to support and empower individuals living with and/or at risk of heart disease, their families, carers and health professionals.
